1. Who you're contracting with
These Terms form a contract between you and JUCEY ("JUCEY", "we", "us"). They govern your access to the website at https://jucey.app, the JUCEY web application, the JUCEY browser extension, and any related APIs (collectively, the "Service").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering a binding contract. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
3. Account & security
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- One person per account; sharing logins is prohibited on Starter and Launch Pro plans.
- Notify hello@jucey.app immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscription, billing & cancellation
JUCEY is a paid subscription service. Plan tiers and current prices are listed on /pricing.
- 7-day card-on-file trial: JUCEY is a paid subscription with no free tier. New subscriptions begin with a 7-day trial: we collect your payment method at checkout but do not charge for the first 7 days. If you cancel before day 8 you are not charged. Otherwise the listed plan price is auto-charged on day 8 and renews monthly until canceled.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply at the start of your next billing period.
- Cancellation: You can cancel anytime in Billing via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.
- Refunds: Because no charge is taken during the 7-day trial, cancelling before day 8 results in a $0 charge. After the trial, all charges are non-refundable except where required by law; you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal. Charges made in error are refundable within 14 days — contact hello@jucey.app.
- Taxes: Prices are exclusive of VAT, GST, and similar taxes. Stripe collects these automatically based on your billing country.
5. Your content & license to us
You retain all ownership of content you upload, capture via the extension, or that we generate from your inputs ("Your Content"). To operate the Service we need a limited license:
You grant JUCEY a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train any public AI model. Your model adapters and voice profile are private to your account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes another party's rights.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract training data, prompts, or model weights from the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the Service without our written consent.
- Bypass rate limits, abuse-detection systems, or trial restrictions.
- Use the Service to scrape platforms in violation of their Terms of Service.
- Upload malware, attempt SQL injection, SSRF, or any other intrusion into our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without refund.
7. Third-party platforms
JUCEY ingests publicly available posts from LinkedIn and X via the Apify scraping platform, and uses third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Grok, Gemini, Groq) to generate drafts. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the platforms you publish to. JUCEY does not guarantee uninterrupted access to scraped data if a source platform changes its policies.
8. Intellectual property
The Service's software, design, brand assets, and documentation are owned by JUCEY and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service while your subscription is active, solely for your internal creator workflow.
9. AI-generated output
Drafts produced by JUCEY are generated by large language models on your behalf. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to publish any output. We make no representation that AI output is factually accurate, original, or non-infringing. Do not publish AI output you have not personally reviewed.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, change features, or deprecate functionality with reasonable notice. Any service-credit policy will be published separately for plans that include an SLA (Teams plan or above).
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JUCEY's total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JUCEY from any third-party claim arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (c) your publication of AI-generated output.
15. Termination
You may terminate your account anytime in Billing or by emailing hello@jucey.app. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, or where required by law. Upon termination, sections 5 (license), 8 (IP), 12–14 (disclaimers, liability, indemnity), and 17 (governing law) survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced by email and via the in-app changelog at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Delaware, except where local consumer-protection law requires another forum. EU and UK consumers retain the right to bring claims in their country of residence.
